About Creative Provisions
Some people collect stamps or sneakers. You collect stories and ideas: the books on your shelves, the one on your nightstand, and the brilliant thought you jotted in your phone at 2 a.m. that you'll definitely do something with someday. This shop was made with you in mind.
Creative Provisions started with a simple belief: creativity needs tending. Like any fire, it burns brighter when someone keeps feeding it, and stories and ideas are the best kindling I know. The book that kept you up well past midnight. The idea that showed up in the shower. The story you're still writing, one scribbled line at a time.
I'm Ainsley. Somewhere along the way, I came to believe the creative life isn't something you earn permission for. You just start living it, and Creative Provisions is part of me living mine. I design everything here and work with a trusted print house to bring it to life. It's playful, considered apparel and gifts for the readers, the writers, the creative minds with more ideas than time, and anyone who knows a little whimsy isn't frivolous. It's essential.
Why the crow?
Crows are collectors. They gather whatever catches their eye: something that might be useful later, or something that's simply beautiful, which is reason enough. They tuck their treasures away and come back to them again and again.
Sound familiar? You have a TBR pile that grows faster than you can read it, and shelves double-stacked with spines waiting for their moment. You have a stack of gorgeous notebooks you're saving for the perfect idea, too lovely to write in and too lovely to leave at the shop. Then there's the one you finally cracked open, now full of half-ideas you swear you'll return to.
That's the crow in you. You hoard stories and ideas: the ones you've read, the ones you mean to read, and the ones you haven't dreamed up yet. You don't need them all today. You just know that someday, one of them will be exactly the spark you need.
When I'm not designing for this shop, I'm in the workshop making leather goods under my other brand, Saddle & Roam. The two are very different worlds, built on the same stubborn belief that creativity is worth building a life around.
So browse awhile, fellow crow. Maybe you'll find your new favourite creative-day uniform, or something that just makes you happy. Both count.
